Biography
Born in Sault Ste. Marie, but now calling St. Albert home, Lucia has dedicated her life to public service.
She began her 25-year career with the federal government as a financial officer in 1981. During her 25 years of federal public service, she worked in the Ottawa headquarters and Ontario and Alberta regional offices. She worked in various departments including Health Canada and the Department of Finance/Treasury Board. Lucia moved to St. Albert permanently in 2002 to manage the Edmonton Office of Consulting and Audit Canada. In 2006, she left the federal government to work as an independent financial management consultant from which she retired in 2018.
Lucia has volunteered on not-for-profit boards and enjoys hiking with her dog Rosie, but most of all, she loves spending time with her two young grandsons and family.
Lucia is CMA-designated and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor.
